Hearing the First Kick

Chino has spent a lot of time with his head on my belly, ear down, listening for the baby these last couple months. I tried to explain that the baby isn't a train but he was determined and I thought it was sweet so, whatever, have at it.

A couple of weeks ago I told him she was kicking in there so he assumed the position and like normal she went still again. I don't know if it's the pressure or a creepy baby-spidey-sense but she doesn't like to move for him and he was pretty bummed about not feeling anything yet.

Anyhoo, I said aloud "Kick 'im in the head Daisy!" :P And she complied, good baby. As soon as she kicked his head came flying up and he says "I heard it! I could hear it!"

"You mean feel it?"

"A leetle but I heard it good."

"Well what did it sound like?"

"huh?" *shoulder shrug* "Like a keek."

Ohhhhhkaaayyy. I don't get it but I'm glad whatever he was looking for finally happened and he doesn't feel left out anymore.

Ahahahahaha, oh God bless him.

Oh and you got yourself a good, obeying kid. It's wise to start with the training early.

OMG, OMG, OMG! You're back! And I missed it! CONGRATULATIONS! Like Sparx, I knew you would come over to the dark side - and I am so glad, because you and C. are going to make amazing parents! Daisy is already one lucky little girl.

(And I can't believe the fucking OB nurse gave you so much crap! Of the 20+ ultrasounds that I had over the course of 4 pregnancies, my husband was only there for maybe 2. Judgemental whore. I am so sorry that you are going to have to go through Labor and Delivery without C., but you are right . . . it is only two days. Let me know if you need a labor coach - I need a vacation . . . and at this point I would take a grown woman's screaming over the screaming of my children.)

F and F !!! Hi !!!! EEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! And Thank You, and awwwwwwww shucks :)
Screaming pregnant lady over screaming kids? That's the kind of honesty I like in a person :P
And yes the ob nurse was an idiot right? At least you give me proof that she's had to have seen other people alone, thank you, and it makes me feel better that someone else didn't have a full audience with thier visists either. I'm not such a freak of nature then :P

I'm glad you came !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I'm still so excited !!!
